I'm currently experimenting with some new coding (which I'll likely expand to all of the site if it works well), which should make me feel better about how pointlessness works. I've also made the customary Ghibli List update, which also includes the new code.
Update: I've also updated My Bookmarked Comics, since I now have a new addition.
I'm currently in the early shakedown phase of operating system upgrading as I've finally made the jump from Kubuntu Dapper to Kubuntu Edgy. I'm currently wondering why I bothered as the application updates I was most anticipating didn't make it in to Edgy Eft (either in main/universe or backports) and I have some rather severe issues, like hdb1 not working properly and the entire sound system not working at all.
Nonetheless, I'm persevering. The hdb1 problem looks promising to fix, while the sound system problem is a complete mystery (it worked in Breezy Badger and Dapper Drake from the start).
I've decided to use the time while I wait for some help on the latter issue to do some work on this site, resulting in a new article, Computer Annoyances. I've also made further minor updates to My Applications and The Ghibli List (probably with more to come soon for both).
We've entered another drought period, as I've been feeling unusually tired recently and haven't been able to get any ideas for new material. I have just made an order for all of the rest of the Studio Ghibli films available to me (along with The Castle of Cagliostro and Soul Calibur III, since I felt like getting them too), which probably warrents a Ghibli List update.
Happy new year! My resolutions for this year are to finally install Kubuntu Edgy and do something with my life.
All November articles have now been archived, and I've updated My Bookmarked Comics since Super Chibi Death Bots just got a new comic, which is quite an occasion.
Update: I've now also changed How much I hate Internet Explorer to reflect the fact that the Stupid IE Fix didn't actually work and has since been removed entirely.
