Two new articles:
Nothing else new to report really. I still haven't got around to rolling out the new code, but I should be doing that fairly soon.
No, I haven't gone into hiding again.
Actually, the coding redesign seems pretty much futureproof now (all I have to do is roll it out across the site, which is tedious rather than difficult), I'm getting back into the swing of updating the site (I think I can officially bring pointlessness off hiatus now), and I have ideas for two new articles! Unfortunately, it's late now and I'm tired so they won't be ready until tomorrow at the earliest.
Anyway, what made me so tired today was walking around town in an effort to get my left leg (which is rather atrophied, for reasons too complicated to discuss here) back into workable shape. While I was doing that, I spotted some numbering on a sign that read "1337" (made me LOL) and returned some batteries that had drained far more quickly that I'd expected. Despite not having any proof of purchase, the store took me at my word and gave me a free replacement. Going against the British habit of not complaining works!
May news and articles have now been archived. Still on my list of things to do are to change the site coding to the new design, update some articles with new information, and start writing some new articles. I'm hoping to have the site up-to-date and with at least one new article by the end of the month.
Additionally, old pointlessness has had a minor coding update to make it more like new pointlessness. It's worth a look if you want an idea of what an HTML 4.01 Strict version of this site would look like.
Getting back in to the swing of things, I've made an overdue update to My Bookmarked Comics, as the status of some has changed and I've added a few new ones. Wicked Alchemy almost made it on to the list, but I haven't finished reading the archives of that yet.
I'll likely be archiving the May news and articles either later today or sometime tomorrow.
Long time no see.
Well, big news for the site. The PHP problem has been solved entirely. I can now go about rewriting the site to use this, get full IE compatibility, and make the site much easier to update. This should help get updates back up to speed.
I'll likely get around to the monthly archiving and some updates once I'm done with that.
