With the recent release of Firefox 3.0 beta 1, my preparations for the final Firefox 3 have stepped up a gear. Part of this has entailed going through my Irritations about Firefox page and seeing what's still around. Turns out two problems have vanished, one seems to not be so bad any more, and two rather nasty new problems have appeared.
Random messing around with OS appearence and some rambling in #kurosroom has got us Firefox Theme Test #1. As usual, no idea if there's going to be a #2.
Freddy the cat has finally left us today, after a long illness. 1992-2007, he will be greatly missed.
In somewhat related news, I will be moving house soon and will likely be without internet access from mid-December for an indeterminate amount of time. This is outside my control, and updates to pointlessness will be either sporadic or non-existent during this period.
In my preparation for Firefox 3, I've been looking at my extensions and decided to to dump Sage, for reasons that are explained on my Firefox extensions page.
Additionally, although I failed to mention it earlier I have now upgraded to Kubuntu 7.10 "Gutsy Gibbon". It's fixed a lot of problems I've been having, and the To-fix List has had a lot of updates as a result. There's still some left though, so I'm not done with it yet.
September articles have now been archived, and the external link to the GNU Free Documentation License text has been replaced with a local reproduction of the licence, as it should have been in the first place.
