I have recently rewatched The Matrix on TV, where the infamous line "Unfortunately, no one can be told what The Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself" was uttered. Now we know this is just not true, The Matrix is a sophisticated virtual reality world designed to mislead and pacify the human race so they can be used as a source of energy for a race of sentient machines. See? Easy. On the other hand, no matter what words I try to think of to describe Aria the Animation it just sounds like a slow, boring pile of shit that no one would ever want to watch. But this is not true either, Aria the Animation is one of the top five best animated series I have ever seen. You really do have to see it for yourself...
Also, no new articles as of yet. Though a fair few American conservatives have been poking me with a very sharp stick when it comes to the NHS, so I may have to write something to help set the record straight with regards to that. The other idea I mentioned has be shelved indefinitely and will only be written if the source material is updated.
P.S. I enjoyed all three films in The Matrix trilogy.
So, yeah. I've been gone for a while. Distractions have made this a dry spell like no other, but it does gradually seem to be coming to an end. I've got no updates today, though my impressions of Final Fantasy XIII clearly need some updating to account for Square-Enix's blatant lies, and I have an idea for an actual article, though I'm wondering whether I've let the subject matter on that subject get too outdated.
Meanwhile, I've placed myself on Anime-Planet and I'm currently watching Kannagi. There's also been a lot of Bôa on my Amarok playlist recently, and I've slowly been getting used to KDE 4.2, to the extent where I expect to actually like KDE 4.3 once I start using it. Finally, I've switched from KFTPGrabber (which hasn't been updated since 2007 and still uses Qt 3) to FileZilla as my FTP client of choice. While I may still change to Kasablanca if it ends up getting a Qt 4 release, FileZilla seems to be working well so far.
