PHP handling still seems to be broken, so I'll just post stuff here for now until things get fixed, I find a new host (suggestions are welcome), or I just give up entirely.
First, I've seen a biographical miniseries about the life of John Adams, 2nd President of United States. This is really good, and you should see it. The 720p version I got off The Pirate Bay (all 17 GiB of it) really is immersive.
Second, I'm now at a crossroads with operating systems. On one side is my default choice, Kubuntu 9.04. That would move me to the latest technologies, including KDE 4.2. On the other is the recently released Debian GNU/Linux 5.0. That would give a nice, stable distro with KDE 3.5 that will likely be supported for two or three years. I've got to say that Debian is awfully tempting. I could move to testing any time I like with that, which would likely be around the time KDE 4.3 is out. So I may be moving to that, if it works with Shizuku's hardware.
I'm also now a super moderator at both Zophar's Domain and KonataChan. Looking at these two places, I like both of them and may in fact end pointlessness to spend more time on both. I don't really want to do that, but Freehostia have really let me down, and moving the site somewhere else would be a massive effort. Either way, I'll make my decision known here soon enough.
I'm really pissed off right now, so this will be short.
pointlessness is broken. Completely broken. It's nothing I did, I made no changes whatsoever. Freehostia seem to have made some changes server-side that has completely broken my main PHP script without which nothing will load. They have told me nothing (the first I knew of this was when I went to the main page and found only a few PHP error messages), and I am at a loss as to how I am supposed to fix this.
Therefore, pointlessness is down until such time as myself or Freehostia find some sort of fix to this.
